✷ this listing is for a whimsical illustrative tattoo that will be freehand drawn directly on the skin, and then tattooed, in the same 3 hour session. thus, it can’t be too big, and may require a second session to complete, depending on the desired level of detail.
subject matter ideas: surreal botanicals with or without eyes, cute animals (rabbits, birds, fish, frogs, cats, etc.), bugs, celestial designs (sun/moon/stars), organic/nature inspired designs (webs, mushrooms, plants)
i’m especially partial to adding stars, swirls, raindrops/teardrops, four-petal-hearts, and other design elements shown in my IG portfolio.
and we can customize further based on your preferences! if you’re open to my artistic interpretation/stylization, and trust me to draw-on your design directly, i’m down to collaborate and get creative as long as it isn’t too detailed for the desired size, fits the sizing limit, and is something i feel confident drawing onto your skin within the time available.
PROCESS: i will ask questions regarding your design and placement preferences at the start of the appointment, and we’ll create a file on my ipad of images for me to reference while drawing. then, i will draw a design directly onto your skin in the desired placement in a layered process using different colored markers to create my freehand “stencil”. we will check the progress together after each step during the drawing process to make sure it’s looking how you want it to.
✷ hand-sized or smaller (~5×5” or smaller).
✷ linework, etching, or dot-shading. black ink only, or black and grey.
add color in an additional session if desired. :)
✷ a $50 deposit is required up-front to reserve this appointment. the deposit goes toward the total price.
✷ pricing will be based on a discounted hourly rate of $160/hr. freehand tattoos are priced to the nearest 15 minutes at the end of the session. pricing will vary depending on appointment length. minimum pricing is $200 total.
✷ after reserving your freehand tattoo appointment, there will be a link and passcode on the confirmation page that will allow you to pick a date/time and book your appointment for the amount of time stated in the title :)
